Welcome to Sober Hangs! When I first stopped drinking, I had no idea what to do, where to go, or how to ask for help. I created this group based off of the storyline of my own healing journey, utilizing all of the different types of healing ideologies that came together to save me in hopes of helping others heal. As you all may have noticed by now I put a huge emphasis on the elephant at every event, and then every post, which also happens to be the symbol for the group. The story behind the elephant… When I first started this journey, and throughout this journey, I have come to believe in a higher power greater than myself. She is a divine frequency that flows through me and every aspect of my life, she is an energy frequency of love, strength, wisdom, and unstoppable courage. Everyday I make it my goal to match my frequency with hers in order to live in a state of love instead of fear. With that being said, this journey is yours! Make it into whatever you want it to be and get creative, because I promise sobriety is so worth it, and honestly so much fun! I hope that this group will continue to grow and serve as a place of healing and comfort for all of you, as we continue on this journey together .
